A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Rodney Mullen, one of the most influential skateboarders of all time and a childhood hero at a friends party. For those who followed ‘The Bones Brigade’ in the 80’s you are aware of his influence on the sport. After hanging out with him I went home and couldn’t wait to pull up some old videos of him skating. Within a sea of mind-blowing skateboard edits, I came across this TED talk were he spoke on innovation. Being part of a company that believes in pushing the envelope I couldn’t help but be inspired by watching this talk about how a group of kids helped revolutionize the sport of skateboarding and influenced an entire generation.
